Hunting Knives

The Buck 110 folding hunter is one of the most well known knives in history. When you see the buck 110 folder it brings back memories of when you were a child and received your first hunting knife. It has that wood inlay handles, and those nice gold shinny end caps, and you would practice flipping it open and that locking tab on the back end. I know when I received my first buck 110 folding knife I thought I was the man around the neighborhood.

When they came out with the Buck 110 Automatic I just had to have one. I begged my parents to get me one but was never lucky enough to get one, until I was an adult, and was collecting knives by then. The Buck 110 auto came in the same design not much changed, just the functions of the blade.  They had so many different names for the same old knife like, Buck 110 hunter, Custom Buck 110, Buck 110 Switchblade, Buck Hunter 110, Buck 110 Folding Hunter, and many others all for the same style knife.

There were Buck 110 review done, and they were kind of mix. Either they loved the knives, or they hated them and had nothing but bad things to say about them. When I was in high school there was this boy that I dislike a lot, and he use too be the school bully till one day he stop me on my way home to pick on me, and try and take my left over lunch money. Well I knew better but I took my new Buck 110 folding hunter knife to school with me, just because I knew Jason was going to be there and give me trouble. Well he had me cornered and was trying to push me around and make me scared till I pulled out my Buck 110 knife and flip it open with one hand. He took a few steps back and really thought about what he should do, and luckily he just left me alone, and walks off. I am not sure what I would have done if he truly came at me, but I knew I had enough and was not going to take it anymore, and needless to say he never messed with me again after that. I cannot say the same for the rest of the kids unfortunately.

 I know owing knives, and collecting them was the right thing to do in my life. It has brought me happiness, and it’s truly something I am patient about. In life you need to have some type of vise, no matter what that is, well as long as it’s legal. Having hobbies and things that make you happy are good in someone life. If you don’t have a Buck 110 folding hunter knife, you definitely need to take a look at getting one, you can pretty much find them anywhere on the internet for less than $40.00 , and it’s a good knife to have around the house for doing those choirs your wife ask you to do.
